The center of Tropical Storm Debby is getting closer to land and is
expected to come inland around the Steinhatchee area
Wind gusts in Franklin County continue to be between 20-25 mph
Winds will increase moderately for the next 24 hours
Tropical Storm Debby continues to move East Northeast
Heavy rain is expected to subside this afternoon and tomorrow
Flood warnings are still expected for Eastern Franklin County
The major concerns of Franklin County Emergency Management at this
time is flooding of the Carrabelle River, New River & Crooked River
for the next few days.
Unfortunately there are NO updates to receive power earlier than
Friday at this time
Please be prepared for safety issues of snakes, high temperatures,
dehydration, etc.
