St. George Island bridge remains closed until we can reassess
The power on St George Island is still expected to return on Friday
considering current weather conditions
Access to St George Island is possible with verification of property
ownership, County re-entry tag, contractors tag (obtained from
Emergency Management)
We still continue to experience 20 mph wind gusts and sustained winds of 30 mph
Please note: There will be generators arriving on St George Island to
be placed at 300 Ocean Mile & Sunset Beach Sewage Treatment plant to
help prevent sewage from draining out, these generators will NOT get
the island back up and going.
